I looked around my room and found a pack of bananas. I got the whole pack for 5 dollars from wagmens, the banana itself does not cost that much money, it is the transaction cost that adds to the total price of the whole pack of bananas. I do not need to travel some distance to find a farmer who grows banana to get a pack of bananas. The cost of the process of getting the banana is the transaction cost.
