I look around and find that family now has fewer children than before, at lease in developed countries. In the past, we gave birth to more children to make the family size look bigger than ever, but now we focus more on child's quality than quantity. In the past, first several children got to go to school and the rest needed to be stay at home or worked on the farm to support the whole family. Now we have only one or two kids and get them all sent to school to get the best education in possible for the better future.
